Successful Conclusion

From December 20 to 22, 2024, the 5th IEEE International Conference on Information Science and Education (ICISE-IE 2024) was successfully held in Zhanjiang, China.

The conference was hosted by Lingnan Normal University, organized by the School of Business at Lingnan Normal University and AEIC Academic Exchange Center, and supported by the Guangdong Coastal Economic Belt Development Research Center and the Academy of Future Education at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The event brought together over 100 participants both online and offline.

The conference consisted of three sessions: Keynote Reports, Poster Presentations, and Oral Presentations. The opening ceremony took place at Zhanjiang Yinwan International Hotel. It was opened by a welcome speech from Professor He Denghao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business, Lingnan Normal University. The ceremony and the overall conference were expertly moderated by Dr. Yang Wenjie, the Conference Secretary.


Professor He Denghao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business, Lingnan Normal University, stated in his speech: “Information science and education are among the most dynamic fields in current technological and pedagogical development, covering areas such as educational informatization, intelligent education, and educational data analytics. This conference is centered around the application of information science in education, future trends in educational development, and related technological innovations and practices. We look forward to fruitful discussions and the generation of new insights.”
